It’s May already and a quarter of the year is past. I took my camera out on three big events in April. While I didn’t get out every weekend as planned, I got to practice my daylight fill flash techniques at the Japan Festival. I got to learn a lot about wildflower photography and near macro techniques at Washington on The Brazos during the Wildflower Workshop at HCP. And I got to go up to the tempietto of the Niels Esperson building on a GHPA Walking tour.
In May, I plan on finishing reading Black & White Photography in a Digital Age: Creative Camera, Darkroom and Printing Techniques for the Modern Photographer ~ Tony Worobiec and Mastering Canon EOS Flash Photography ~ NK Guy.
I signed up for class presented by National Geographic and I found out about volunteer sponsored photowalks in Brazos Bend State Park that I plan on starting to attend. I also plan on finding an event or activity or two where I can practice motion capture and panning techniques.
.
At Assignment: Houston, the theme for this month is Galveston. I’ll miss the group meetup on the 16th but I plan on going out on my own.
