“Photographic Memory” (2009)

“Photographic Memory” (2009), originally uploaded by Michael Sanderson.

I was just messing around Flickr tonight and noticed the “Blog This” button. Curiosity required that I click it and see what happened. You’re able to post to your blog from Flickr.

This is the sculpture entitled “Photographic Memory” by Lewis Tardy. It’s made of stainless steel, photographic enlargers and cameras, titanium surgical reconstruction plates, motorcycle and found steel parts. I took the image at The Bayou City Arts Festival in March with my Canon S90 point-n-shoot. It takes inages in RAW format and has a host of manual controls. I still have a difficult time composing with the LCD screen, but it is extremely portable and takes great images.
